Sunday 22 January 2012
Open 10am–5.15pm (last admission 4.30pm)
The Royal Pavilion opens its doors for the annual People’s Palace Open Day on Sunday 22 January 2012.
There will also be another chance to experience Johanna Hällsten’s sound installation, A Regency Utopia commissioned for White Night 2011. The installation explores the hidden human histories of the Royal Pavilion through a series of soundscapes played in rooms throughout the building. These sounds celebrate the individuals and activities that have sustained the life of the palace from the time of George IV up to the present day.
